Thought-provoking, fluid, vivid [...] and a reminder to us all that our inside lives rarely reflect what we show on the outside. I loved it, A witty, no-filter glance at the reality of becoming – and remaining – a social media influencer. I loved this relatable tale of friendship, marriage and family life, Everything's Perfect is a smart and thought-provoking read about friendship, parenting and the pressure to appear perfect. Witty, sharply observed and utterly relatable – I loved it, After a year indoors, staring at online life through a Valencia filter, this is exactly the book we need. I couldn't put Everything's Perfect down, and laughed, cried and cringed at the all-too-relatable moments. Nicole Kennedy writes so brilliantly about the weird world we all live in and I can't recommend it enough, A fresh eye-opening look into the fascinating world of 'insta mums'. This smart and sassy novel is a must for any new mum or social media obsessive!
Nicole Kennedy grew up in Essex. She was the first person in her family to go to university, and won a place to study Law at Bristol. She has always wanted to be a novelist but her work as a lawyer left little time for writing. During Nicole's second maternity leave she began writing poems and rhymes on motherhood and family life, which she posted to her blog 'The Brightness Of These Days'. She completed her first novel during her third maternity leave (because by then it was easier than leaving the house). Nicole lives in Kent with her husband and three sons.
