      Salamina Mosese is a South African actress, producer, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She is well known for her roles in TV series like Soul Buddyz, Sewende Laan, and Abo Mzala. Salamina also co-founded Sorele Media, a production company focused on telling impactful African stories and promoting women in film and television. She holds a degree in Corporate Communications and is passionate about creating content that connects with audiences across generations. Salamina is the author of two children’s books, Disaster at Gogo’s Spaza and Cook-off at Gogo’s Spaza. Her books emphasize storytelling that is entertaining and deeply rooted in local culture.As a child, Subi drew all the time. In every room of the house and sometimes even on the walls. He was born in Mthatha, grew up in Pretoria and completed high school in Hammanskraal. In 2010 he went to Cape town to study architecture at UCT and worked as an architectural technologist for a few years, but he never felt as if he was adding value to the industry. He started illustrating when he was busy with postgraduate studies. The feedback he received from classmates, encouraged him to start freelancing. Subi aims to create warm and colourful scenes in his illustrations and to represent African people in all their beautiful textures, tones, sizes and features. Being a children’s book illustrator has brought him great fulfilment, and he loves helping to bring stories to life and sharing these stories with readers.
