Dennis Lehane is an American author known for international bestsellers Live by Night, Mystic River, Gone, Baby, Gone and Shutter Island. Lehane was a staff writer on HBO’s hit series The Wire and worked as a writer and producer on Boardwalk Empire. His first novel A Drink Before Water, won the Shamus Award and since then he was published 12 novels that have been translated into more than 30 languages.
