Youth Day 2024 is the 48th anniversary of the Soweto Uprising, where students in Soweto bravely protested the Bantu Education system and showed great strength and resilience in their quest for emancipation from Apartheid. 

We celebrate Youth Day to reflect on the past while striving for the future. We can always learn something from looking into the past, and youth is a pivotal time in every life.
