Professionally, Serai Dowling has been many things; an educator, an engineer, and a creative. Her photography is exceptional, and she has an eye for beauty that makes this book visually stunning. Serai Dowling is a writer, strategist, mediator, researcher, photographer and open-water swimmer. Serai has lived in the Western Cape and explored its tidal pools since 1999. In addition to working in the education sector, she runs an outdoor education company with her husband for adults and children. Jay Caboz features his photos amongst Serai’s and he is best known for his work in Getaway Magazine, Business Insider South Africa, AA Traveller and Forbes Africa. His contributions have earned him esteemed accolades, including the coveted CNN Journalist of the Year award, solidifying his position as a trailblazer in the realm of photojournalism.
