Stuart Broad is a competitor - someone who's addicted to Test cricket and the pressure that it brings. For over 17 years, he's been leading England's attack and being responsible for some of the greatest moments in world cricket. Following the 2023 Ashes, he announced his retirement from the sport and now, for the first time, he tells his story. From his legendary 8-15 spell against Australia to taking 600 wickets, this is an inside look at his career and the moments in his life that made him. Candid, personal, and genuine, this is the story of a true cricketing great. The longevity of his career, and what he has achieved, should never be forgotten. Ben Stokes He loves the big moments, the pressure situations. That's a true sign of a champion, I think. He's been incredible for England for a long, long time. Glen McGrath Stuart Broad is the ultimate Ashes warrior. Ricky Ponting One of England's greatest players of all time. Joe Root

Stuart Broad was born in 1986. He is the son of former England opening batsman Chris Broad. Stuart was educated at Oakham School before starting his professional cricket career for Leicestershire and then moving to Nottinghamshire. A right-arm seam bowler and a left-handed batsman, Stuart Broad made his England debut in 2007. Broad proved to be an invaluable member of the victorious England 2009 Ashes squad, and he won the Man of the Match award in the decisive fifth Test at the Oval.
