      Tim Hopgood worked as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator for twenty years, before turning his hand to children's books. WOW! Said the Owl follows the hugely successful A Dog Called Rod shortlisted for both the Red House Book Award and the British Book Design Awards and Our Big Blue Sofa which was longlisted for the prestigious Kate Greenaway medal. He won Best Emerging Illustrator at the Booktrust Early Years Awards for his third book, Here Comes Frankie! He is married with two children and lives in the centre of York.
