      Michèle Mendelssohn is Professor of English and American Literature at Oxford University. She has authored and edited six books including Making Oscar Wilde, which was a Sunday Times Book of the Year, a semi-finalist for the PEN America Biography Prize, and a finalist for the Polari and the Biographers' Club Slightly Foxed Prizes.
