She has written for the Sunday Express, Evening Standard, the Independent, and the Sunday Times, and was awarded the Guild of Food Writers Cookery Journalist of the Year Award in 2001 for her work in Country Living magazine. Her first TV series, Grow Your Greens, Eat Your Greens, won the Caroline Walker Prize. Sophie currently lives in Oxford, where she runs her own cookery school.
