The second edition of Contemporary Company Law discusses all aspects of the new Companies Act 71 of 2008, including the 2011 amendments and the Companies Regulations, 2011. The common law and relevant legislation are also examined. All the dominant company law topics are discussed in this work. In addition, insider trading and market manipulation receive detailed treatment although they do not strictly form part of core company law. I haven’t finished the book yet but it came in amazing quality and its delivery date was on point and accurate. I am very satisfied.

Thunder Dog

Amazing story how a guide dog led her blind human down 78 flights of stairs after the first plane hit their building during the 9/11 terror attack. She kept focussed despite the dust and dreadful panic all around, made worse by the overwhelming smell of jet fuel. She was a beacon of hope and encouragement to everyone crowding the stairs in their rush to escape. Happily she got her human to safety and they had a life thereafter.
