Welcome to the 2020 edition of The Buyers’ Guide. It’s been 23 years since we launched the first edition of SA Décor & Design – The Buyers Guide and in that time so much has changed in terms of the fast paced digital world we find ourselves in now. I’m proud to look back on the past few years and see how we have adapted The Buyers Guide, and our digital platforms to these fast changing times. The Guide itself continues to be the most comprehensive reference for designers, decorators, property developers and home owners – the perfect directory for anyone wanting to transform a home or corporate environment. It’s a stylish view of the industry, beautifully presented and featur­ing thousands of carefully vetted and accurately listed suppliers and service providers. When producing the Buyers Guide each year, we continue to work with the vision of not only ensuring that it continues to be regarded as the Number One sourcing guide to the décor industry in South Africa, but also that it proves to be an informative and interesting guide for the user. This year we once again received a positive response from our clients, and the guide shows a healthy representation of the South African décor scene. The internal look and feel of the New Edition remains the same and this year our designer has retained these elements and improved on them, render­ing the Guide up-to-date with the latest and greatest décor and design trends while reflecting cultural and social change. Complete with an eye-catching new look, fresh content and intriguing editorial offerings, we believe that we have achieved just that and more. We have also revised the layouts of these listings and altered the formats of selected chapters and categories to make them more user-friendly and visually appealing. We have revamped some of the chapters and integrated some of the product categories to make them more user friendly for the reader.
