A Scottish castle. Ten visitors. One dead body.Sandy Shaw expects her trip to the island of Mull to be a relaxing break with new boyfriend Tom Nelson. A guided tour around Mull Castle is just what she had in mind.Until the lights go out.And one person doesn't survive the dark. With a murderer among them, and the mainland police unable to help until the storm passes, it's up to Sandy to solve the case in this closed room cozy mystery.Murder Most Remote is the fourth in the Waterfell Tweed Cozy Mystery series. Light and cozy, the book follows our female amateur sleuth and a whole host of quirky characters. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone (but is better enjoyed if read in order), and is free from swearing and violence.Praise for the Waterfell Tweed Cozy Mystery Series5 out of 5 Stars The characters on Waterfell Tweed feel like friends now.5 out of 5 Stars An excellent cozy mystery with a strong story and great characters.5 out of 5 Stars I started reading this book and I couldn‚'t put it down! Once I started the series I just couldn‚'t stop.

ONE PENNY A STORY, I called across the playground.Entirely unusual, given how shy I was (and still am), for me to be shouting anything across a playground. But there I was, a double-sided sheet of narrow ruled paper (I've always been kind of particular about the paper I like. Back then, narrow ruled. Now, grid.) in my hand, selling stories I hadn't yet wrote.Every line featured a different title. I'd lay on my bed the night before thinking of them all, probably singing along to Boyzone songs as I did [hey, don't judge... I see you over there like you never thought you were destined to marry a boy band singer...].My school friends could buy a Mona original for one penny. One penny! They'd pick the title they liked, hand over their sweaty penny, and I'd write the story for them. And I've never grown out of writing stories. Now, I write cozy mystery stories from my den in the Peak District, and when I'm not writing them, I'm reading them.
