BLOOD MATCH AND OTHER PLAYS gathers three of playwright Oliver Mayer's recent works - BLOOD MATCH, THE SINNER FROM TOLEDO and FORTUNE IS A WOMAN. Riffing on works by Federico Garcia Lorca, Anton Chekhov and Machiavelli, the plays in this book are daring re-inventions of canonical works. Edited with an introduction by scholar Eric Mayer-Garcia, BLOOD MATCH AND OTHER PLAYS is a welcome addition to contemporary dramatic literature. This publication is part of NoPassport Press' Dreaming the Americas Series.
