Akuma Ascendant

In the small Wyoming town of Werner, Jacob Chavez has given in to his mundane life. Haunted by the memory of his daughter's death, the once popular author has been reduced to writing unappreciated editorials for the local paper just to make a living. Things are about to change, however, as his former best friend slowly goes mad, and one young man learns that his brother's legacy will not be forgotten. When Jacob takes it upon himself to get to the bottom of recent criminal activities, he begins to unravel a dark plot aimed at the very heart of all he holds dear. Can Jacob stop those who seek to raise the sleeping beast below them, or are all his efforts in vain? It may be that only the strange, sardonic creature known as Satan holds the answers, though what those answers are remains to be seen. Sink into a world of despotic charm as Jose Leyva explores the depths of human sin and the nature of true Evil.
