Electromagnetic Wave Scattering by Aerial and Ground Radar Objects presents the theory, original calculation methods, and computational results of the scattering characteristics of different aerial and ground radar objects. This must-have book provides essential background for computing electromagnetic wave scattering in the presence of different kinds of irregularities, as well asSummarizes fundamental electromagnetic statements such as the Lorentz reciprocity theorem and the image principleContains integral field representations enabling the study of scattering from various layered structuresDescribes scattering computation techniques for objects with surface fractures and radar-absorbent coatingsCovers elimination of "terminator discontinuities" appearing in the method of physical optics in general bistatic casesIncludes radar cross-section (RCS) statistics and high-range resolution profiles of assorted aircrafts, cruise missiles, and tanksComplete with radar backscattering diagrams, echo signal amplitude probability distributions, and other valuable reference material, Electromagnetic Wave Scattering by Aerial and Ground Radar Objects is ideal for scientists, engineers, and researchers of electromagnetic wave scattering, computational electrodynamics, and radar detection and recognition algorithms.

"[The authors present] new methods for the computation of secondary radiation of complicated aerial- and ground-based objects, taking into account many complex factors not considered in earlier works. This is extremely important when estimating practical potentials of numerous radiolocation systems. … A great deal of reference material is given on the scattering characteristics of many important objects. [This material] will be of essential help to developers of new radars."—Yakov S. Shifrin, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Ukraine

This book has given me a new insight into the “murky” world of the stock exchange, and a renewed respect for the traders who navigate this challenging environment on a daily basis.
