Takes a While, Crocodile

Learn to practice patience with this delightful companion to the bestselling book, See You Later, Alligator! In the tradition of its bestselling sister-book, See You Later, Alligator, this rhyming adventure follows animals as they wait for something wonderful. But nobody quite knows when it will happen! As each of the animals waits for whatever is coming, some fidget, some fuss, some grow antsy, some lose hope--and all practice patience. In a warm rhyming story with playful illustrations, our lovable cast of critters learn that good things really do come to those who wait. Full of humor, heart, and moments every child will recognize, this is a story kids and parents have been waiting for. Takes a While, Crocodile is written by teenage brothers who remember their favorite kids' books like their childhood was just 10-years ago. They decided to write the books they now read to their youngest cousins.

Taiyo and Zen de Becker are teenage brothers who enjoyed plenty of children's books when they were children, which was not that long ago. With their RhymeTime Animals series, they've now become authors. It's too soon to say what's next.
