C is for Colorado

★★★★★ "I bought this book for my children prior to our trip to Colorado and they loved it. Plus it excited them about things to look for on our trip. Easy to understand and simply written with great pictures."C is for Colorado combines dazzling photos with fun and informative couplets which describe the pictures and offer clear picture-word associations. Intriguing facts will add to the non-fiction learning experience. This book covers subjects important or significant to Coloradans and includes brilliant color photography by top photographers. Each vibrant page highlights a unique aspect of Colorado's natural beauty and lively culture with either a place, animal, plant or another evocative idea. The book’s eye-popping design and educational content will hold the child’s interest through countless readings. In addition to the 26 letters of the alphabet is the “Who Knew?—Facts about the great state of Colorado” section which gives parents, teachers, and even kids a deeper understanding of the topic for each letter of this Washington alphabet.

";Few things are sweeter than a child's early poems: simple, touching, and at times more insightful than expected. And since children often know best how to capture the interest and imagination of other children, an educational picture book filled with kids' poems just might bring rote learning to life. Such is the case with C is for Colorado. The book is easy to understand and clearly captures a child's perspective on the world they live in. It's a fresh way to reinforce alphabet skills while opening kids'; eyes to the everyday things around them. And above all, it is an endearing gift of love to Colorado that promotes a pride in and deep appreciation for that beautiful state.”------Diane Gardner, ForeWord Review
