Taking into consideration that the agricultural industry is greatly dependent on pesticide chemicals to deal with the damage caused due to pests, this new volume details the challenges along with the bioremediation and remediation measures, such as the use of beneficial microorganisms, polymeric nanocomposites for nanoremediation, phytoremediation, and more. It looks at pesticide contamination from agricultural activities in a variety of different environs and a selection of sustainable and eco-friendly remediation approaches. Khalid Rehman Hakeem, PhD is Professor at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Rouf Ahmad Bhat, PhD is Assistant Professor at Cluster University Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), India, and specializes in limnology, toxicology, phytochemistry, and phytoremediation. Gowhar Hamid Dar, PhD is an Assistant Professor in Environmental Science, Sri Pratap College, Cluster University Srinagar, Department of Higher Education (Jammu and Kashmir), India, where he has been teaching for many years.
