Errol's Winter

There’s so much to do and see in the garden! How can we tidy? What can we do indoors? How can we look after the wildlife?Gardening encourages physical activity and healthy eating in children. It stimulates the senses and supports cognitive development, while teaching children to understand and nurture the living world around them.

Gillian spends much of her time making beautiful things in the basement studio under her dad's bicycle shop, which she shares with a selection of friendly (but not very chatty) inner tubes and mudguards. Despite her underground workspace, Gillian loves being outside in the garden, although she would probably be a more successful gardener if she was a bit less scared of wriggly things. Gillian Hibbs is a London based illustrator who studied Illustration at University College Falmouth. She enjoys working on a wide range of different projects, and has a particular interest in children's illustration and hand lettering.
