Fortunes of Craigwell

When the recently graduated Elizabeth stepped out of the taxi, her first impression was wow! Looking up and up to the top of the imposing edifice of Craigwell Castle in the Highlands of Scotland, this quiet beauty of a young lady was struck by the most powerful feeling of awe mixed with a certain nervousness as she approached the forthcoming interview. Then, bracing her shoulders, she mounted the ten steps and rang the bell.An hour later, Elizabeth sat looking at this gorgeous, imposing man, Hamish Mcdogget, the son of a rich-list father, who was offering her the opportunity of a lifetime and a man whom, after one star-kissed magical night of passion, she would secretly love for the rest of her life. This was the start of her new life, entwining herself with four families whose saga continues through tales of a secret love, Machiavellian ancestry, debauchery and pleasure houses. A journey of pain, hardship, rape and a miracle as she travelled first in Normandy then the Middle East to find the secrets of the stolen treasure found at Craigwell Castle. Then finally, to the Highlands of Scotland where the bronze age meets a 21st Century, super luxury castle hotel; where Elizabeth encounters the forced attentions of a middle eastern prince and a married Hamish is offered the delights of hedonistic eroticism, when an escort he previously knew, unexpectedly comes to stay. This is a story where money knows no bounds, and new life is born for the saga to continue on.
