      Dianne Hofmeyr grew up on the tip of southern Africa. Her acclaimed picture books are translated into more than 18 languages and include The Magic Bojabi Tree (illustrated by Piet Grobler), nominated for the Kate Greenaway Award, Zeraffa Giraffa, (illustrated by Jane Ray) which is on The Sunday Times' Top 100 Children's Classics list, My Daddy is a Silly Monkey (illustrated by Carol Thompson) and Tiger Walk, both published by Otter-Barry Books and also nominated for the Kate Greenaway Award  in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Her most recent picture book for Otter-Barry Books is The Most Famous Rhinoceros, with Simonetta Mullazani. Dianne lives in West London.Carol Thompson is internationally known as an illustrator of books for younger children, with an exceptional ability to see the world through their eyes. With over sixty books to her credit, she has won honours including the US Stonewall Honor Picture Book Award and School Library Journal Best Book of the Year. She is a member of IBBY UK, sharing its commitment to diversity and inclusivity in children's publishing. She lives in Leicestershire.
