Alchemie van My Muse

Alchemy of my muse is a multifaceted debut about life, love and the characters in which the game is explored with the tradition of poetry. The poet reflects on poetry and engages in postmodernist discussions with other poets such as Louw, Kirsch, Boerneef, gert flakelel, etc. The position of Afrikaans is satirically looked at. Love is defenselessly sung and reflected on, with nostalgia, humor and pain. Life and the inevitable death, sometimes tongue-in-cheek, at other times open-and-bare, are disrupted, chanted and cheated.
