14th WCEAM Proceedings

This book gathers selected peer-reviewed papers from the 14th World Congress on Engineering Asset Management (WCEAM), which was held in Singapore on 28–31 July 2019, as well as papers presented during the 1st WCEAMOnline event which focused on the ramifications of Covid-19 on infrastructure systems.This book covers a wide range of topics in engineering asset management, including:asset management services provisioning;servitization;decision-making;asset management systems;industrial Internet of things; andvulnerability and resilience of infrastructure systems. The breadth and depth of these state-of-the-art, comprehensive proceedings make them an excellent resource for asset management practitioners, researchers and academics, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Adolfo Crespo Márquez (PhD FISEAM) is currently Full Professor at the School of Engineering of the University of Seville, and recently Head of the Department of Industrial Management.. He recently received the Spanish Maintenance Award 2020 from the Spanish Maintenance Association (AEM). Prof. Crespo is the author of nine books and many research publications in journals conference proceedings. He leads the Spanish Research Network on Asset management, the SIM (Sistemas Inteligentes de Mantenimiento) research group and has extensively participated in many engineering and consulting projects for different companies, for the Spanish Departments of Defense, Science and Education as well as for the European Commission (IPTS). He is the President of INGEMAN (a National Association for the Development of Maintenance Engineering in Spain) since 2002.Dragan Komljenovic (P.Eng PhD FISEAM)  works as a Senior Research Scientist at the Hydro-Quebec’s Research Institute (IREQ) in the field of reliability, asset management, risk analysis and maintenance optimization. Dragan worked almost 12 years as a Reliability and Nuclear Safety Engineer at the Gentilly-2 Nuclear Power Plant, Hydro-Quebec. He collaborates with several universities in Canada and abroad. Dragan has published more than 80 refereed journal and conference papers. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management (ISEAM), and Vice-President of the Montreal Chapter of Society of Reliability Engineers (SRE).Joe Amadi-Echendu (BSc MSc DPhil CEng PrEng FISEAM) is a Professor of Engineering and Technology Management at the Graduate School of Technology Management, University of Pretoria, South Africa. Joe is a registered professional engineer in both UK and South Africa and has more than 38 years of work experience in industry and academia. Joe is a founding Fellow of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management (ISEAM), the current chair of the board of directors of ISEAM; as well as a current board member and treasurer of International Association for the Management of Technology (IAMOT).  Professor Amadi-Echendu is the founding Editor-in-Chief of Engineering Asset Management Review series publication by Springer.
