An exciting, rich, vibrant story, full of heart-pounding action and colourful characters, The Bloodsworn has impressed the hell out of me through two volumes. Like the first instalment, The Hunger of the Gods ended bombastically with a great emotional punch that has me slavering for the finale. John Gwynne studied and lectured at Brighton University. He's played double bass in a rock 'n' roll band and travelled the USA and Canada. He is married with four children and lives in Eastbourne, where he is part of a Viking re-enactment group.
