Lori-Ann Preston lives in East-London with her husband and child. She’s been writing since she was eight years old and says that she gets her inspiration from other books, TV and movies but also from listening to, talking to and watching other people. She has won a Golden Boabab for Early Chapter Prize for her book The Ama-zings!, as well as the South African Writer’s Circle award for New Writer of the Year. Zinelda McDonald is ’n kunstenaar wat in Kaapstad woon saam met haar musikant-man, Deon, en hulle twee katte. Sy het ’n honneursgraad in Grafiese Ontwerp aan die Universiteit van Noordwes se Potchefstroomkampus verwerf en illustreer meestal kinderboeke en ontwerp voorblaaie vir jeugliteratuur. Sy het al ’n paar toekennings gekry vir haar werk (twee ATKV Woordveertjies asook ’n Exclusive Books/IBBY SA 2017 toekenning).
