Wetlands are among the richest habitats on our planet and a crucial home to some of the world's most endangered species. Bursting with frogs and other amphibians, as well as a whole host of other wildlife, they are dazzling havens of activity waiting to be explored. Packed with multi-layered pop-ups and flaps to lift, this incredible feat of paper-engineering allows young readers to look inside three wetland habitats, revealing wonder after wonder, page after page. From the surface of the water, where bugs skate, spiders hunt and flowers spread their petals, to the murky depths, where myriad creatures fight for survival, this book will take you on a tour of the wetlands like no other. Written by award-winning wildlife journalist and nature nerd Ben Hoare and illustrated in in striking colour and texture by rising star Jasmine Floyd, this fact-packed pop-up shows the true beauty of frogs, amphibians and the wildlife they live alongside. Perfect for readers from 7 to 100.

Ben Hoare (Author) Since graduating from university in 1996, Ben Hoare has written and edited enough natural history books and magazines to fill his bookshelves to overflowing. He has been a staff member in the offices of the RSPB, Birdwatch magazine, DK and various BBC magazines, especially BBC Wildlife. In 2015 Ben was awarded the Dilys Breese Medal for science communication by the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) - he is one of only 15 people to hold the award. Ben lives in a sleepy village in the Quantock Hills of Somerset with his wife, two daughters, a labrador and a flock of unruly chickens.Jasmine Floyd (Illustrator) Jasmine is a freelance illustrator and printmaker residing in the Shropshire countryside. Her illustration style was massively influenced by her experiences studying illustration in Liverpool and the wonderful arts scene there - hence the vibrant colours and psychedelic vibes! Jasmine loves to create headache-inducing patterns and riso prints but most importantly illustrations that make people happy.
