The Scavenging Seven explores the fascinating world of scavengers – nature’s unsung heroes who use their unique adaptations to survive. While not the most glamorous creatures, scavengers play an essential ecological role, cleaning up carcasses and waste to prevent disease and decay. This outdoor adventure introduces young readers to seven remarkable scavengers as they forage, feast, and flourish across the African wilderness, from the skies above to the savanna below.

      Themes:

      • Adaptation & Survival: How animals use their traits to thrive in harsh environments.
      • Ecosystem Balance: The vital role scavengers play in maintaining nature’s health.
      • Diversity in Nature: Each species’ unique behavior and strengths.
      • Environmental Education: Encouraging respect for often-overlooked species.
