      Martin Dempster is a proud Borders man who now lives in Fife. He is the golf correspondent for The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday and Edinburgh Evening News. A member of the Association of Golf Writers since 1997, he served as the organisation's Chairman from 2019-2023. Golf has always been one of his main passions, having cut his teeth in the sport at Eyemouth and also played at Dunbar before becoming a member of Aberdour.
