The thrilling third book in the internationally bestselling Divergent series that inspired a series of major motion pictures starring Shailene Woodley. This special 10th anniversary edition features exclusive content from Veronica Roth and a beautiful reimagined cover art from award-winning illustrator Victo Ngai. The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered – fractured by violence and scarred by loss. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she's known, Tris is ready. Perhaps, beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories. But Tris's new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Once again, she must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature – and of herself – while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love. Told from a riveting dual perspective, this explosive conclusion to Veronica Roth's bestselling Divergent trilogy reveals the secrets of the dystopian world that captivated readers in Divergent and Insurgent.

Praise for DIVERGENT:
“Riveting … A memorable, unpredictable journey from which it is nearly impossible to turn away.” Publishers Weekly
“This gritty, paranoid world is built with careful details and intriguing scope. The plot clips along at an addictive pace, with steady jolts of brutal violence and swoony romance. Fans snared by the ratcheting suspense will be unable to resist speculating on their own factional allegiance. Guaranteed to fly off the shelves.” Kirkus Reviews
“With brisk pacing and lavish flights of imagination, Divergent clearly has thrills, but it also movingly explores a more common adolescent anxiety – the painful realisation that coming into one’s own sometimes means leaving family behind, both ideologically and physically.” New York Times
“The next big thing.” Rolling Stone
“Thrilling” US Weekly
“A taut and shiveringly exciting read! Tris is exactly the sort of unflinching and fierce heroine I love. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.” Melissa Marr, bestselling author of Wicked Lovely
“Divergent is a captivating, fascinating book that kept me in constant suspense and was never short on surprises. It will be a long time before I quit thinking about this haunting vision of the future.” James Dashner, author of The Maze Runner

The Girl who survived her mother -Moshitadi Lehlomela
Lehlomela offers a biographical rendition of her childhood experiences and how she got to discover and label her woundedness. She takes us through her journey where we start by sympathising, then empathising and finally those of us who have this would feel like we are reading our life story. I finished that book feeling unburdened. By writing her story, she named and voiced my wounds. I first felt triggered and then unpacked my healing. This book is for anyone who can't explain why they have a complicated relationship with their mother. It's not for the faint-hearted, but it's a worthy read. If you can't afford it and are in Johannesburg, it is available at Johannesburg Public Libraries for those with Library cards.
Ek het groot geword met Portchie in my ouers se huis - dis vir my onsettend mooi om te lees hoe Portchie oor 30 jaar sukses gebou het. Dit lees soos ‘n film.
