"Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant - a perfect pressie for an early Father's Day idea too!", "Picture books in which male parental figures feature at all are uncommon enough; but one which focuses entirely on the positive relationship between a father and his child is a rare and very welcome find indeed. What's more, this is such a cracking story and so engagingly told and illustrated, that the absence of mum isn't even remotely an issue, which is hugely refreshing in itself.", "A joyful funny and uplifting celebration of the special relationship between dads and their children, and the importance of being yourself - whoever that may be!", "This is a lovely story, with bright and interesting pictures throughout and an easy story to follow", "Full of excitement and colourful illustrations, children will enjoy this funny tale about the importance of following your heart" - Children's book of the week
Maudie Smith began her career as an actor. She spent years perching on scenery in the back of a van, while touring with a small-scale theatre company. She co-devised many of the plays in which she performed and has also written lyrics for musicals, cabaret and a libretto. In children's theatre, she played well-known characters such as Piglet in Winnie the Pooh, Susan in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, and the rose in The Little Prince. Maudie has an MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University. She lives in a village near Bath with her screenwriter husband and their two daughters. Paul Howard studied a Graphic Design course that specialised in illustration, and worked at the Natural History Museum before becoming a full-time illustrator. Amongst other books, he illustrated the enormously popular The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark. Paul now lives in Belfast with his wife and children. This is his first picture bookwith Oxford University Press.

A very practical approach and the tools to go along with it
Very useful. The book provides a structure and an approach that I would have been useful earlier in my investing. I like the five gates and in particular the attention to quality and management's capital allocation decisions. I will also apply the idea of the stewardship log to get more explicit on my investment theses. This is kind of the practical aspect of what I learned from the Psychology of Money.
the title ties in really nicley the more towards the end but the title for the book suits it real...
the book is very slow burn and takes a while for like captivating parts of the book .but the middle to the end the pace of the book is really nice the beginning is just repetitive and and trust the processes
