?Child welfare work has altered dramatically in the last two decades.... This brief, well-focused, and completely annotated bibliography of user aids and training guides is thus very welcome. The resources listed are easily available in most academic libraries that support social work curricula, or in large medical and public libraries. Materials are current; the earliest date from the mid-1960s. ... Entries contain thorough bibliographic citations, and the annotations, however brief, usually combine content description with suggestions of the value of the material. Nonprint media, generally filmstrips, are included. Author, institutional, audiovisual, and subject indexes are provided, with cross-references identified. Medicine, public health, education, law, and social services are well treated, and this bibliography contributes to a changing and important subject. Advanced undergraduate and graduate collections.?-Choice, "Child welfare work has altered dramatically in the last two decades....
