This volume will show how various intellectual disciplines (most found within the modern university) can learn from theology and philosophy in primarily methodological and substantitive terms. It will explore the possible ways in which current presuppositions and practices of the displine might be challenged. It will also indicate the possibilities of both a "Christian Culture" in relation to that discipline or the way in which that discipline might look within a real or theoretical Christian university.

‘Finally, a book that takes on the difference Christianity might or should make for how the disciplines of the university are pursued. This is essential reading for Christian and non-Christian alike.' - Stanley Hauerwas, Gilbert T. Rowe Professor of Theological Ethics, Duke Divinity School, USA., There is a wealth of content in these pages . . . Hopefully [it] will be read by many in the fields examined in this book, or even ones not directly addressed, and they will be inspired to think through their own approach as Christians as they present their subject to their students., [This] book is the most substantial anthology of multidisciplinary engagement with theology, and as such will be of profit to academic leaders seeking to foster a more integrated intellectual life among faculty in Christian colleges and universities.

A very practical approach and the tools to go along with it
Very useful. The book provides a structure and an approach that I would have been useful earlier in my investing. I like the five gates and in particular the attention to quality and management's capital allocation decisions. I will also apply the idea of the stewardship log to get more explicit on my investment theses. This is kind of the practical aspect of what I learned from the Psychology of Money.
the title ties in really nicley the more towards the end but the title for the book suits it real...
the book is very slow burn and takes a while for like captivating parts of the book .but the middle to the end the pace of the book is really nice the beginning is just repetitive and and trust the processes
