In a time when the environment is in danger and biotechnology is making big strides, this handbook takes you on a full tour of the colorful world of natural goods and how they can be used to help the environment. It combines classic phytochemistry with the latest breakthroughs. It looks at plant-derived compounds, microbial metabolites, and fungal pigments, as well as new ways to extract, clarify structures, and distribute bioactive substances. Each chapter shows how nature-inspired science might change the world, from CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats)-Cas9 and synthetic biology to sustainable bioplastics and algal-based biodegradables. This book is for researchers, students, and eco-friendly innovators. It will guide researchers and innovators toward different innovations in the fields of medicine and the environment. It not only explains how bioactivity and encapsulation work, but it also shows how to turn these ideas into businesses, protect the environment, and come up with new green ideas. This is the book you need to read if you want to use nature to make the world a better place, whether you're figuring out how molecules work or coming up with new ways to make things that break down naturally.
