This powerful narrative, told from the perspective of a horse, is now available in an unabridged paperback volume in Union Square & Co.’s Children's Signature Editions series. Despite Black Beauty being her only published work, Anna Sewell is widely regarded as one of the most successful children's novelists from England. Black Beauty chronicles the life of a horse in Victorian England. At the hands of different owners, he experiences discipline, friendship, overwork, and, ultimately, love. Young readers will be moved by this empathetic novel about animal treatment—a story that’s still relevant today. This rich and realistic classic animal story is now available in its entirety in this paperback edition, perfect for young readers’ libraries.

Anna Sewell (1820–1878) was an English novelist. She is the author of the 1877 novel Black Beauty, her only published work, which is considered one of the top ten bestselling novels for children, although the author intended the work for an adult audience. Sewell died only five months after Black Beauty was published, but she lived long enough to experience the positive reception to her work.

A very practical approach and the tools to go along with it

Very useful. The book provides a structure and an approach that I would have been useful earlier in my investing. I like the five gates and in particular the attention to quality and management's capital allocation decisions. I will also apply the idea of the stewardship log to get more explicit on my investment theses. This is kind of the practical aspect of what I learned from the Psychology of Money.

the title ties in really nicley the more towards the end but the title for the book suits it real...

the book is very slow burn and takes a while for like captivating parts of the book .but the middle to the end the pace of the book is really nice the beginning is just repetitive and and trust the processes
