Ben and the Bullies

Ben is being bothered by not one, but two bullies at school. The twin boys with the red hair scares him sometimes, and they make Ben feel unhappy. Because of this, Ben doesn’t even want to go to school anymore. But then his mom reminds him that Jesus is always with him and that there are other ways to handle bullies. This beautiful story by Zuléka Smit sensitively explores the topic of being bullied, especially at school, and is based on her years of experience as an educator as well as being a mother.

Zuléka Smit is a teacher and motivational speaker with a love for lifeand a passion for young people and writing. Born in Kroonstad butcompleting her matric at High School Albertina, Zuléka attained herB.Ed teaching degree cum laude from the Cape Peninsula Universityof Technology–Wellington Campus. She is also currently a matron at a high school whereshe further lives out her passion for the education and leadership ofyoung people. Zuléka is a family person and is married to Johan.
