      Dianne Hofmeyr is one of South Africa's foremost writers for children, winning many prizes including The Sanlam Gold Award for Youth Literature (twice). Her books have been translated into 18 languages. Dianne has had two IBBY Honours Books and is the author of Zeraffa Giraffa and The Glassmaker's Daughter with Jane Ray. Her other picture books include Paris Cat, My Daddy is a Silly Monkey, Tiger Walk, and Fiddle Dee Dee. She grew up in the Western Cape, South Africa where she taught art and now lives in London with her family. Carol Thompson is internationally acclaimed as an illustrator of books for younger children, with an exceptional ability to see the world through their eyes. With more than 60 books to her credit, she has won honours including the US Stonewall Honor Picture Book Award and School Library Journal Best Book of the Year. She is a member of IBBY UK, sharing its commitment to diversity and inclusivity in children's publishing.
